April’s Best Kept Vacation Destinations

I know it’s only March and most of us are still trying to decide or hopefully finalize where our Summer vacations will end up. However, for those of you that are looking to get away for Spring Break, and have completed all of your tax homework, we’ve got some great destination ideas for you and we start with the turquoise blue waters of Bermuda.

Although Bermuda may not bet the optimal destination that it has been in years past it has regained some of its luster and is once again a top destination especially in what is considered pre-season for most of the typical beach vacation spots. Now the water may not be bath temperature just yet but the days are warm, the sunsets are among the best in the world and you’re getting this all for less than peak-season prices. In 2018 the island saw the opening of the Loren, it’s first new property in over a decade as well as several other properties that underwent renovations ahead of the America’s Cup that are much improved and provide added value to stay.

So regardless if you are staying on Ireland or St. David’s Island, in Hog Bay, or one of the beaches off of Middle Road, you really can’t go wrong when it comes to a picturesque view, but here are some of our favorite places to stay where the other amenities may make a difference for you.

The Rosewood Bermuda $750-$920 per night – Amazing views of Castle Harbor, with four spacious pools, two of them are infinity, with lounge and bar. Perfect for this time of year when you may want to just jump into a warm pool rather than getting used to the ocean. Dining on the strand with three restaurants and two full bars. There are suites available with ocean views that are over 1000 square ft, with luxury baths, that may make it hard to leave the room but make sure you get out to see some the most picturesque beaches you’ll ever see.

The Reefs Resort & Club $396-675 – Seems like every room has a great view here. Cliffside has pool views that also have ocean views, cliffside guest rooms that are very affordable for what you get, junior suites, point suites that put your right on the tip of the water, and a 2-bedroom club suite that you’ll wake up to perhaps the most amazing sun-kissed view you’ve ever seen. You will have to call to book the suite however as you can’t book it online. There is a spacious outside dinning area with cliffside and beach tables as well as a beachside cocktail lounge You could easily get lost here.
